All women want to be able to prevent breast cancer. Many women die each year because of breast cancer. Every year researchers spend so much money trying to find a cure for breast cancer. However, the best way to stay safe is to take every step possible to prevent breast cancer.
Omega 3 fatty acids and breast cancer prevention go hand in hand according to a study published in the Journal of the National Cancer Institute. The results aren’t conclusive as of yet, but many more studies have come out also indicating this connection. Omega 3 fatty acids can be found in fish oils and flax seed oil. They are instrumental in heart health and are anti-inflammatory compounds. Its anti-inflammatory nature might be what can help prevent breast cancer.
Flax seed and fish are where you usually get omega 3s from. If you don’t consume very much of these foods then you may have a moderate omega 3 deficiency. A Research Exploration about Alcoholic Symptoms, Alcoholism Statistics, and Alcoholism Symptoms
Mr. Blake was one of the health teachers at a small rural community college in the Eastern part of the U.S. For “Alcohol Responsiveness Month” he decided that he would concentrate on the following three topics for a class project: alcoholism symptoms, alcoholism statistics, and alcoholic symptoms.
After Mr. Blake finished the topics that would be assigned to his students, he made up his mind that he would give them their assignment the following Thursday morning.
When “assignment day” finally came, Mr. Blake met with the pupils in his classroom, passed out some appropriate research data, and then told the students in his classroom about the topics he ultimately selected.
Why It Is Essential to Become Skilled at Figuring Out How to Link Alcoholism Symptoms, Alcoholic Symptoms, and Alcoholism Statistics with Everyday Experiences of Alcohol Addicted People
He then gave the pupils in his class a synopsis of some key alcoholism statistics and alcohol addiction signs and symptoms and noted how important it is to figure out how to correlate these facts, statistics, and symptoms with the day-to-day experiences of alcohol addicted people. He then gave the pupils in his classroom a brief explanation about the relevance of learning more about alcohol addicted individuals and how they function on an everyday basis.
Mr. Blake informed the pupils in his class that they could give their attention to one of the three topics or discuss all three topics and how they are interlinked. Essentially this would be similar to a general abstract but done more thoroughly.
Another choice that he provided for his students was the following: choose a topic such as alcohol dependency signs and symptoms, explore things in a more wide-ranging fashion, and then go over two or three symptoms and signs. Mr. Blake then mentioned that the same rationale applies to the other two topics, namely, alcoholism statistics and alcoholic symptoms.
The end result of their exploration would be a three thousand word composition and then a twenty-five minute oral presentation that would be presented in front of the class.
Presenting The Results of A Research Exploration at the Community Alcohol and Drug Abuse Conference
As compensation for their extraordinary academic achievement, the pupils with the top four overall grades on the term paper and on the presentation will be encouraged to present the results of their investigation at the tri-state alcohol and drug addiction conference during the last eight days of March.
After the pupils acquired their project information, many of them raised their hands and asked for a demonstration of a sub-topic that they could center on for their assignment.
In reply, Mr. Blake decided that he would concisely chat about a few alcohol addiction symptoms and signs that the pupils could elaborate on.
As a case in point, Mr. Blake drew attention to the following alcohol dependency signs and symptoms: boasting and a “big shot” complex, cloudy thinking, an obsession with drinking, and loss of control.
Stating How Alcoholic Symptoms, Alcoholism Statistics, and Alcoholism Symptoms Are Disclosed in the Life of an Alcohol Dependent Person
After listing these alcohol addiction signs and symptoms, Mr. Blake then informed the pupils that they could do some supplementary examination on each symptom, gather some applicable data, give a number of illustrations of each symptom or sign, and articulate how each symptom or sign is disclosed in the life of an alcohol dependent person.
As stated by Mr. Blake, since there are more than a few alcoholism symptoms and signs to select, he talked about the fact that he was not excessively worried about several students deciding upon the same signs and symptoms for their class assignment.
To be sure, even if several students were to select identical signs and symptoms, the illustrations that are correlated with each sign or symptom would unquestionably add enough diversity to circumvent several students presenting identical content.
Mr. Blake then talked about the fact that while there are numerous alcohol addiction symptoms and signs that could be selected, the number of alcoholism statistics and facts that could be cataloged were very nearly limitless. When the topic of alcoholic symptoms was added to the conversation, additionally, the pupils comprehended quite swiftly that the three topics would provide a considerable amount of data from which to choose.
Why Mr. Blake Opted For Alcoholism Statistics, Alcoholic Symptoms, and Alcoholism Symptoms as the Topics For This Research Project
Why did Mr. Blake pick alcoholism symptoms, alcoholic symptoms, and alcoholism statistics as the topics for this research project? Mr. Blake’s expectation was that by requiring all of his pupils to dig into one or more of the three alcoholism topics, all the students in the class would have a better perception of a multifaceted yet significant topic such as alcoholism.
Mr. Blake also thought that by increasing the understanding of his students about the devastating consequences of alcoholism and the gloomy way of life experienced by alcohol dependent people, his pupils might think more wisely before they get bogged down with irresponsible and abusive drinking behavior.

A Young Couple Assesses Their Heavy Drinking and Their Short and Long-Term Hopes, Plans, and Dreams
Augie and Merissa have been going out for four years. They met while taking the same art history class at a relatively small, rural, Church affiliated liberal arts college located in the Southern part of the U.S. While they were for the most part good buddies at first, they eventually started to date when they were in their third year of college.
Because both of them came from very conventional backgrounds, neither one of them drank much beyond the experimental stage when they first began dating. As the time proceeded, then again, they started to go to more keg parties, happy hours, football bashes, and sorority and fraternity parties. As a result, they little by little began to drink increasingly more the longer they dated.
Their Social Life Generally Consisted of Going to Parties With Their Friends, Going to Restaurants Three or Four Nights Per Week, Going to Happy Hour With Their Friends, Going to Professional Sporting Events, and Going With Their Friends to the Local Bar and Grill on the Weekends
After they graduated, they both landed jobs in a relatively small city that was approximately sixty miles from their undergraduate college. Then they eventually decided to move into the same apartment with one another.
Because they were far removed from the college drinking scene, nevertheless, their social life frequently consisted of going to happy hour with their friends, going to restaurants three or four nights per week, going to parties with their friends, going to professional sporting events, and going to the local bar with their buddies on the weekends. Stated simply, Augie and Merissa began drinking in a hazardous and excessive manner.
Now that they were living in the same apartment with one another and beginning to get more steadfast about their relationship, then again, they began to think about getting married, becoming more responsible, having children, and buying a house.
With any substantial adjustment in a person’s life there is normally something that causes the particular change in question. For Merissa and Augie the thought of having children and buying a new house was this “mechanism of change.” In brief, for the first time in their lives, Merissa and Augie started to critically assess their abusive drinking and the alcohol long term effects on their lives.
How Would Their Irresponsible and Excessive Drinking Affect Their Finances, Their Ability to Have Children, Their Relationship With One Another, Their Relationship With Their Parents, and Their Mental Health?
Would their abusive and hazardous drinking adversely affect their ability to have children? How would they be able to continue spending so much money on drinking if they were to start saving for a new house? How adult-like would they be if they had children and continued to drink in an abusive and excessive manner? How would they be able to face their parents and tell them about their long term aspirations, goals, and dreams while they still drank in an irresponsible and excessive manner while having fun as they did when they were in college? What would their heavy and abusive drinking do to their relationship? How would their abusive and heavy drinking affect their mental health?
From a different line of reasoning, although neither one of them ever suffered from alcohol poisoning, received a DUI, or experienced alcohol withdrawal symptoms, they realized that their excessive drinking was becoming a reality that they could not discount anymore.
After Giving Their Circumstances Much Deliberation, Augie and Merissa Finally Realized That Their Aspirations, Goals, and Dreams Would not be Completed if They Continued Their Irresponsible and Abusive Drinking
All of these queries clearly led to the same conclusion: Merissa and Augie needed to discover that they couldn’t continue their abusive and heavy drinking if their goals, dreams, and aspirations were to be attained.
Once they got to this conclusion, they notified their drinking buddies about their plans to start a family, about their marital plans, and about their goal of buying or building a new house. They also told their drinking buddies that they still wanted to hang out with them but that they would be drinking in strict moderation from this time forward so that they could begin realizing their future hopes, aspirations, and dreams.
Much to their surprise, all of their buddies expressed relief because they too had been recalculating their lives and concluded that their life-styles were much too frequently focused on drinking. They also felt that they would have to change drastically if they were to become more mature and manifest more thoughtfulness for their careers, their goals, and for their health in the next ten or fifteen years.
After their heart-to-heart discussion with their buddies about their goals, aspirations, and dreams, Augie and Merissa in essence started to have more meaningful relationships with all of their friends. The fundamental reason for this was the fact that all of them had the same attitude regarding their hazardous and irresponsible drinking and their short and long-term goals, plans, and aspirations.

A Woman Manifest Signs of Depression and Alcohol Abuse and Makes an Appointment to See Her Healthcare Practitioner About Her Irresponsible Drinking
Teresa was a forty-four-year-old insurance agent who knew that she had some drinking issues. For instance, within the past six months she has experienced the need to have a few drinks before going to work, a week ago she failed a random saliva alcohol test at her place of employment, five months ago she got arrested by the state highway patrol for a DUI, and last but not least, for going on two months she has begun to fail to remember what she does and says when she drinks with her friends.
Like huge numbers of other individuals, Teresa’s involvement with alcohol began little by little and stayed at this speed for quite a long time because every once in a while she engaged in occasional social drinking. In actual fact, for almost nine months, every time she went out with her coworkers to drink, she made sure to drink in moderation. Something about her drinking, nevertheless, seemed to thoroughly change when her husband divorced her.
In Order To Overcome the Divorce of Her Husband With Less Misery, Teresa Decided to Begin Palling Around More Often With Some of Her Pals Who Love to Whoop it Up and Drink
Teresa got exceedingly despondent about the divorce from her husband, and as a way to refrain from obsessing about her depressing emotions she came to a decision that she would begin palling around more repeatedly with some of her friends who love to have fun drinking.
Quite forthrightly, Teresa concluded that having fun just about every day by getting an alcohol “buzz” with her friends would help her rise above the breakup of her husband in a less troublesome manner.
Teresa’s Drinking Escalates Greatly the More Routinely She Goes to Happy Hours, Family Get-Togethers, Private Parties, Sporting Events, and Dinner Dates With Her Friends
It didn’t take long, however, before her drinking increased to a significant degree the more frequently she went to and drank at happy hours, dinner dates, family get-togethers, sporting events, and private parties with her pals. Furthermore, the fact that her drinking pals were all quite a bit younger than she was and therefore able to party and drink more carelessly was one of the reasons why she didn’t center more of her attention on her increased drinking. In short, she was drinking and having a great time just like everybody else in her group of buddies without giving too much consideration about the negative results of her drinking.
Yet someplace in her brain she knew that she most likely needed alcohol counseling but steered clear of the thought as much as she could.
Teresa Gets a Physical Exam, Acknowledges Her Excessive and Irresponsible Drinking to Her Healthcare Practitioner, and Admits Her General State of Despair
One afternoon during her six-month physical, her doctor asked her if she drank alcohol. Not wanting to tell “stories” to her doctor, Teresa ”came clean” and said that she frequently drinks more than she should. As a matter of fact, she said that she frequently drinks in an excessive and hazardous manner. Then Teresa told her healthcare practitioner about her melancholy. More plainly, she mentioned that wrecked relationships many times triggered a depressing chain of events typified by increased drinking which further resulted in more disheartening feelings that, in turn, resulted in even more drinking. And this is specifically what took place when her husband and she got divorced nine months ago.
When her healthcare professional heard this, he told Teresa that according to various alcoholism facts and statistics on alcoholism he was reviewing, alcoholism and depression many times happen in the same individual. He then informed her that some of the alcohol statistics, research investigations, and facts he has been looking into also highlight the fact that people who drink in an excessive and abusive manner and who also suffer from depression need to obtain treatment for both medical circumstances.
Teresa’s Physician Schedules an Appointment for a Psychological Appraisal and For an Alcohol Dependency and Alcohol Abuse Evaluation
Teresa’s healthcare practitioner then said the following: “I am not trying to make an unprepared diagnosis, but with your medical condition we may be confronting two separate issues. Consequently, I think we probably should schedule an appointment for you to get an alcoholism and alcohol abuse assessment from my partner, Dr. Franks, who is an alcohol abuse and alcohol dependency specialist. Whether your drinking circumstance is more related to alcohol abuse or alcoholism is not clear, but I believe that further assessment is defensible. Then I think we ought to make an appointment for you to get a psychological exam from another one of my partners, Dr. Robbins, who is a clinical psychologist. I want to get some more insights about your melancholy and see how much your drinking and depression are interlinked.” Teresa showed her agreement with her physician’s line of attack and thanked him for his time and concern. Now all she had to do was to try to decrease her drinking and wait for her appointments.

A Young Lady Tries to Refrain From Drinking, Goes Through Alcohol Withdrawal Symptoms, Learns That She is an Alcoholic, and Makes Up Her Mind to Seek Alcohol Rehab
Jennifer is a thirty-two-year-old call center manager who has been ingesting alcohol quite extensively since her live-in boyfriend and she broke up their relationship. In fact, for the past four months she has been drinking nearly two bottles of wine every night, and on the weekends she also has been drinking a number bottles of beer throughout the day. In a word, Jennifer has been drinking so excessively and hazardously that it’s a wonder that she hasn’t suffered from alcohol poisoning.
After feeling unhappy because she was starting to ignore her health, Jennifer at long last told herself that enough is enough, that it’s time to stop feeling sorry for herself, that it’s time to quit the hazardous and irresponsible drinking, and time to move on with her life. So the following Saturday morning at 8:00 AM, she came to a decision that she would quit drinking suddenly and completely without preparation or planning.
When She Attempted to Stop Drinking She Felt Horrific, She Vomited Numerous Times, She Was Extremely Moody and uptight, She Started to Sweat Extensively, Her Head Was Pounding, and She Had Utterly No Appetite
When Jennifer quit drinking, she reasoned that she would quite possibly be tempted to ”steal” a drink or two, but she never thought that she would feel so awful. More exactly, about two hours after she quit drinking, her head was throbbing, she had absolutely no appetite, she started to sweat profusely, she was extremely nervous and moody, and she vomited a number of times.
When she called her best girlfriend and told her that she had stopped drinking and that after a few hours she without any warning began experiencing flu-like symptoms, Sandy, her best friend, told Jennifer to call her medical doctor and discuss what was taking place.
She Admits to Her Medical Practitioner That She Has Been Drinking In an Excessive and Hazardous Manner, That She Just Tried to Stop Drinking, and That She is Experiencing Extremely Unpleasant Flu-Like Symptoms
So Jennifer called her physician, told him that she has been drinking heavily for a number of months and that when she made an effort to suddenly stop drinking earlier in the day, within a couple of hours she felt as if she had the worse flu-like symptoms that she had ever suffered through.
Her family doctor told her that she may be suffering from symptoms of alcohol withdrawal and that she should have a family member or friend take her to the emergency room ASAP.
As soon as Jennifer got off the phone, she got a family member to take her to the emergency room. Interestingly, all the way to the hospital, as sick as Jennifer felt, the only thing she could think about was whether or not she might be addicted to alcohol.
It appears that her healthcare professional had phoned ahead and informed the emergency room personnel to expect Jennifer because when she got to the hospital, she was met by two paramedics who immediately asked her to get in the wheelchair they had with them. After getting taken to the emergency room and undergoing two or three necessary tests, it was verified that Jennifer was in point of fact going through alcohol withdrawal symptoms and was in need of alcohol detox.
A doctor gave her some drugs to reduce her flu-like symptoms and also administered some meds to help get rid of the alcohol that was still in her bloodstream.
A Chemical Dependency and Substance Abuse Healthcare Professional Explains That She is an Alcoholic and Then Clearly Explains What Alcohol Withdrawal Symptoms and Alcohol Dependency Stages Are
After two or three hours, Jennifer was removed from the ER and transported to the recovery room. After she was in recovery for about three hours, Doctor Devor, an alcohol abuse and alcoholism specialist, came to see her. He took quite a bit of time and explained in a clear fashion that Jennifer had gone through alcohol withdrawal symptoms when she quit drinking because she had become addicted to alcohol.
He then stated that with heavy drinking on an everyday basis, the drinker’s brain over time adjusts to the alcohol so that it can carry out tasks and operations in a “normal” fashion. When the person then all of a sudden abstains from drinking, it can be noted, the brain reacts by eliciting alcohol withdrawal symptoms. What is more, her physician also clearly explained the different alcoholism stages that an individual who is alcohol dependent regularly suffers through as the disease gradually gets worse.
It is Established that Jennifer is in the First Stage of Alcohol Dependency and She Obtains a Favorable Diagnosis For a Complete Recovery if She Gets the Alcohol Dependency Rehab She Needs
Fortunately for Jennifer, it was established that she was in the earliest stage of alcoholism and, consequently, she was given a favorable forecast for a complete recovery if she will get the alcohol addiction treatment she requires.
Jennifer told the doctor that she will do whatever it takes to get sober and to reclaim her health and her life. She also articulated that she has a first-rate hospitalization plan that will more likely than not pay for most of the treatment costs that will be incurred. It was clear to see that Jennifer was very thankful about her optimistic medical forecast and felt free from worry knowing that she will be able to get the alcohol addiction therapy she needs so that she can start on the path to recovery.
